I've been sitting in on a few sessions and my mentor and I have started digging into the mix part of things. I'm just scratching the surface of the surface, but being organized is so unbelievely important, on many different levels. Being organized with hardware and gear. Knowing where your mics and mic stands are, how to get to them quickly. Being organized and patching the patch bay correctly. Having all your tracks organized so they're all there when you pull the session up. Being organized with your I/O set up. It's all very daunting, but it's amazing to learn
