My mentor and I talk a lot about EQ and compresson, as I'm sure most mentors do.
I had always had a hard time grasping what compression was. I didn't really know what was happening to the audio. I didn't know how a compressor was affecting the waveform. This chapter really helped me to understand what is happening to the audio and how mixers/producers can use it to their advantage.
