Today was my first lesson at the studio. Last week I started reading the books several times, and I found myself in trouble, because I realized there's so much information I don't know/understand yet, but Mark Sinko, my mentor, helped me comprehend some of the stuff using examples so that I can get familiar with the real terms.

At the end of the class, he gave me a small tour of the studio, basically to get to know some of the microphones we are going to use, and I had to take some pictures and write down their names so that I can do research and memorize them all.

Overall, I had a great time with Mark. He even used the guitar (since I've been playing the guitar for all my life) to make sure I understood some of the lessons. That really helped me a lot.

I felt kind of ignorant about some of the stuff he mentioned, but I expect and I know that's going to change as we go through the lessons. I can't wait to have the same skills and prepare myself to be a succsesful Audio Engineer!
