Attended "Live" Band Session @ Salmon Peak Studio - Posted on 2015-02-28 by Wayne Hill

On February 20, 2015 around 10:00 am, I had attended a recording session @ Mark Sinko's "Salmon Peak Studio". A fellow Recording Connection Student, Ray Cole would engineer the session. I found this part to be so insightful, and  beneficial to see a colleague go through managing a "live" session with a band, and to get assistant from his mentor, when needed.  Briefly here  are several items i had captured during the session:  1) Preparation is a key factor,  2) Adapt to changes, 3) Provide quick and efficient solutions to unforeseen issues.  4) Connect positively with Artists / Musicians  and 5) Know your tools and 6) Have Fun!!!!!

There are so many intangible and priceless qualities  I had experienced in attending this event.  Also met another Recording Connection student, Jacob Muniz.  This is such a great feature in the recording connection program!

It was a great day!!!!!
