Got a crash course on some basic Pro Tools tips along with going over some basic concepts and getting a studio tour. It's amazing, 1 week and I've already learned so much. Plus it was so much fun getting to actually touch real production equipment. It's such a cool/good feeling! Can;t wait for next weeks lesson, which will be all about microphones and placement an such. Get to sit in on some fun sessions this week too including getting to see how vocals are recorded, how a whole band is recorded and hopefully some pedal steel guitar.
