I sereriously did not know until now the multitudes of connectors and thier functions.I like most people would look at the male or female end of a connector and find the opposite match. Well although that works knowing where I'm going to be using each specific connector is so much better. For example I now know that the cable used to hook up microphones is called an XRL cable,and the most common cable for patch bays are TT cables. So as I get more familiar with the different cables and connectors ,I also keep in mind that hands on studio time will also make this more clear.
