This week I sat while Josquin & Phil were editing a demo for a client. I learned how to import stuff from another ProTools session. In this case they needed to change the tempo, he did that in the original session before bringing it over so as not to lose the timing of the clip. A client came in to start recording on a couple of songs so a new session had to be made and he didn't know what the tempo was so he had to play the song while Phil manually tapped out the tempo. I got to record Phil playing the electric guitar with a miked amp using a small diaphragm condencer mic. I sat in on a session with Scott playing keys to record MIDI tracks.
