For my lesson this week we spent most of the time going over compression and EQ. I was running ProTools and Thomas talked me through doing the gate, EQ, and compression for each part of a drum kit. I also did some recoding for a personal project Thomas was working on. We had a drummer come in to play on a few songs this week. I watched the whole process of micing the drum set.
