This week we dove deep into equalization. As we've gotten into mixing I definitely feel like this is the stuff I've been most enthusiastic about and equalization especially has been fun to learn about. In the studio we went over different kind of equalizers before looking at how we might use different filters to manipulate a mix. Zack pulled up the session files from one of the mixes given to us in the book and we went through each track and started working on them, working to clean up the drums especially.
