Isaac Stocker
Isaac Stocker!..You probably have no idea who that is. I want that to change. I’ve always wanted that to change. But, not for such a reason that would make a mockery of me and my passion. Yes, I want to be known. But, I want to be known for my voice, my singing, and my music. I first performed when I was five years old with what I thought was a smashing rendition of ‘Part of Your World’ from The Little Mermaid at my town church. Now, even at that age, I swear I knew that singing was what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted a successful career. So much so, that I have had the same picture of Capitol Records framed and hung in my bedroom since I was seven years old in some sort of vision board esque motivation. It’s because of that motivation that I’ve dedicated my life to singing, and trying to become better. I’ve listened to and emulated incredible vocalists since I was young. Call it unhealthy, but even at a young age, I pushed, and worked, and strived to execute the tricks, have the control, and have the passion in each performance that gave me chills everytime I listened to them. My voice and my singing is the most important thing and easily the thing i've worked the hardest on in my entire life. I feel that it is equally the most special thing I have to offer. Now, at 20 years old, I look back and don’t regret any of the work. But, now im pushing and striving for an audience, a chance, and an opportunity that will make my work worth it. I’m not going to stop fighting and pushing and opening every door that could allow me to be a recording artist, a great vocalist, and possibly even a star.
