So last Saturday Jesse and I started recording one of my songs. He showed me a piece of equipment I have heard of before, but never used; a DI box. Jesse told me that these help with converting the line signal to a more useable signal for recording. He also went into more detail about the rack gear he has, which I can't remember the names of these at this moment. This was also the first time I recorded to a click track. We finished all of the recording for the song and did some mixing to it, but we didn't go too in depth with it. I'm assuming he is going to want me to work on it at a later time so I can get the sound that I'm looking for in my song. Next week we're planning on working on one of his songs.
