Pretty good chapter dealing mostly with compressors and the different types of them that are out there. I learned more about FET, Optical, Variable and VCA type compressors. I got some more history on Bill Putnam which is always enlightening.

The chapter went on to talk more about limiting, gating, parallel compression and some side-chaining. All in all it was a good chapter.
