Major:

My name is Taylor Brink, I\'m 20 years old. All my life I\'ve loved music, but I didn\'t have the idea nor think I was capable of making my own for quite a while.

Nearly my entire life I\'ve been enrolled in Martial Arts. At age 3, I started a local Taekwondo program and I haven\'t looked back since. When I was 9 years old, I earned my 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. I am currently a 3rd Degree Black belt.

My first encounter with music was in the 4th grade when I decided to try playing the Viola in the school orchestra. I found it far too difficult, and ended up faking it the rest of the year....oops. The next year, I tried playing percussion in the school band. I was much more comfortable, and found it to be a lot of fun. Ever since, I\'ve been a drummer.

As a little kid, I loved listening to 90\'s Dance Music in the car, and as I grew older, I slowly grew more and more interested in the EDM genre. At about age 13, I decided I wanted to give making my own a shot. I downloaded a demo of FL Studio and tried making some music. I had no clue what I was doing, grew frustrated, and quit. A few months after that, I noticed LittleBigPlanet 2 (one of my favorite video games at the time) had the ablity of creating music in music sequencers. By experimenting with these, I realized my potential, and about a year later I began honing my skills making music in FL Studio. Now, I feel very comfortable working in FL studio, but want to learn how to become the very best producer I can be.

With the help of RRF and my mentor Arson, I hope to learn everything I need to reach my full potential and become the professional Music Producer I want to be, whether it be about Mixdowns, Mastering, Sound Design, Music Theory, Mic Placement, or otherwise. I will do everything in my power to reach my goal of becoming a successful multi-genre Producer, as well as doing some solo Hip-Hop and EDM stuff on the side. In 6 months, I hope to leave RRF a smarter, better Producer, and to start a career doing what I love.
