What's up ya'll?! Sincere here. It's only been a few days since my last blog entry so not much has happened. I was really lookin' forward to getting together with Doug this Sunday (yesterday) for a gig at Stanley Park which is a park located in my hometown but he unfortunately had to cancel it due to the weather! There was a few rain showers here & there throughout the evening. That was only going to be my second time going out in the field with Doug; so it's pretty dissapointing that it was cancelled but he's been so busy lately with gigs I'm sure I'll be able to get another opportunity soon! Chapter 12 had a lot of good information in it but it was honestly a breeze because I’ve gone over a lot of the mixing theory with Doug already & I’ve already been mixing myself for a few weeks so most of the stuff in the chapter was just a refreshment or you could even say it was clarification for the things that Doug went over with me. We spent one session mixing down this track I recorded at my house & that was one of my favorite sessions so far. I took so much out of it & since then I’ve seen my mixing skills progress at a high rate. We (The Hashassins) keep creating music at a pretty good rate so it’s great that I’ll continue to have songs to work on mixing/recording! I aced my last test & I plan to do the same with my next one! Pretty excited to get into the Equalization chapter, which is what I’m going to do now. So until next time, peace & love!
