What up y'all? Sincere here. I'm finally nearing the end of my course. I'm trying to catch up on my blogs still but at the moment I'm studying for my final! There's so much information that I learned throughout this course; it's going to be pretty crazy studying it all in preparation. My plan is to study 3 chapters each night for the next week since I'm getting together again with Doug next Wednesday. I'm getting together with him tomorrow as well but I'm not quite ready to take on the final & I want to be prepared as possible. The plan is to ace it, and I'm confident that I will. But since this is the Chapter 18 blog I might as well talk a bit about it. I knew that the acoustics & monitoring were important... but I didn't realize the extent of it. It never occured to me that it could be equally as important as the monitors/studio equipment that you have. This Christmas I asked for some studio foam and I was lucky enough to recieve an Auralex kit. I spent some time with Doug as well going over some of the importance about treating your room and some of the best, most efficient ways to go about it. So I'm feeling pretty confident in going ahead and treating my room. I'm going to attempt to do that at somepoint this week. So wish me luck y'all! Until next time. Peace & love.
