Once I read and understood what I read in chapter four, I was able to connect it (No pun intended) to the different things in the studio. As my mentor Ron was teaching and going over the chapter with me I was hearing that in the patch bays that instead of a regular TRS cable they were using what was called a military cable which is like a cross of a TRS cable and a TT cable. For example it was the same size of a TRS but the Tip was in a shape of a TT connector. After we went over that, I was able to have the studio to myself and as I am a bass player was able to borrow on of the studio basses and recorded samples for my own files.
