This first start to this program has been amazing. Learning everything about sound and hearing, how sound waves work, what exactly happens when I hear a sound, has changed the way I look at the world around me in an auditory senses and has me paying closer attention to the things I'm hearing and listening to. 

Walking into a fully functional studio for the first time was overwhelming. Seeing everything and being in the environment of an engineer can make you lose your breathe for a second but having a great mentor helped me get a handle on things. He walked me through the studio and taught me how it all works together. He taught me the simplicity of it all and how to see past the gear and the software and how having a great sound from the start makes an engineers job so much easier. I look forward to continue working with him.
