I was back in the studio on Friday, January 25th going over the next lesson, digital audio basics. There was some more interesting background and information about what happens to recordings after they are recorded. I enjoy the insight and how everything works together. I would've never thought there was so much to a recording. The most shocking piece of information from this lesson was what happens when the recorded piece is compressed into different forms, how much is lost. It's just unbelievable to see that actually happens. I like the information I have learned about and obtained this far, but really can't wait to keep learning and becoming hands on with different types of equipment. I really look forward from here on out because different pieces of equpiment and programs will be introduced and taught to me which is what it is all about. I'm soaking it all in and trying to gain as much information and knowledge as possible.
