This session was more in depth into the console and what exactly is going with all those knobs. It seems like so much, so complictaed and confusing, until it's explained. I thought I caught on pretty quickly and have the understanding. I know over time and actually recording, working directly with the console, it will make much more sense as to exactly what every single component is doing for me. These days it seems the console is physically no longer used by many engineers which seems odd to me. I feel like having a physical console there in front of you, as long as it's in good shape and running top notch, you can't find that kind of mixing through a software. I feel like if it's not broke, don't fix it; don't stray away from the physical console that has been been used for years for a new software to replace the old. I'm sure in time I will use both and really see the main differences and be able to determine for myself what I like and what I don't.
