Antonio RodriguezToledo Recording Connection

Session 7. Posted on 2013-03-03 by Antonio Rodriguez

This session was a continuation of signal flow, routing, and amplifiers. This was a more laid back discussion and session, that I picked up on quickly. The whole lesson just flowed so easily because it made a lot of sense. This was the same week I went back in studio a second time for a recording session. This week, one of the top names in Toledo came in to work on his second album. He had the scratch guitar and vocals already recorded and I was there to sit in on the drum parts. It was another learning experience to see how Brett interacted with his clients, to see the different setups of microphones, patch bay setup, and how it all went down. This was the second time I sat in on a recording session and it was fun, again, and a good experience overall. I can't wait until that is me being the engineer with clients and working one on one the way Brett did and does. Each week gets better and better, I learn so much more, and I look forward to this as a career.
