In Chapter 1 I learned about the basic scientific and mathmatical components of sound. I spent an hour and a half studying the chapter before my first lesson with George Nardo which helped me understand it more beforehand. Furthermore, George clarified each concept on the quiz while reviewing it by playing various sound demos and frequencies that I had to compare and contrast. For example, to explain phase cancelation, he played two sounds of the same frequency out of his speakers. I left the lesson having understood previously explored concepts better and with a greater curiosity towards them.
