This week I met the Engineer who goes by the name of Willie Waze, we bantered trivially over this and that and i was taken through the very basic rules of electronics and also studio etiquette. These lessons included the flow of elctricity, how to correctly wire a system, correct studio temperature and other useful informative facts. I also witnessed the recording of an Afropop aritst which I also enjoyed. Upon my return home I realised that America is truly the greatest country on earth, one step out of the airport, after customs strips you to skin, one would be thrown into the bittersweet aroma of broken dreams and living hopes. I do appreciate the attempt to make sure that whoever works hard may infact achieve their dream. A statement with which I am dwelling on right here at VPS media center, listening to this mix over and over again. The question remains, am I working hard enough?
