From whats been goin on so far in class is I recently just had a recording session with a band called the coolots.The experience was great picked up alot of information on things like how to set up a session properly, and  a couple of recording techniques in pro tools. Before the session took place I hooked the speakers up, and moved around the mics in the right position to be able to capture a smoooth clear sound for the singers, When the session was going on the main things that I picked up  on was layering vocals in the mix to add more depth to  it soecifically on the hook , and saving the not so good tracks to the bottom of the mixer track that is inactive just to be able to go back and see what you can work with on some of the takes.
