       Golden Globes 2017!!  On Sunday, January 8,  was the 74th staging of the Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton in California.The event was hosted  by comedian Jimmy Fallon, who does a great job hosting the show. The stars came out in numbers, before the beginning of the show the stars walk the red carpet and took pictures and take interview from journalists. On the red carpet it was fashion over style, the females were dress to impress, they all look gorgeous in their outfits, the same can be said for the males, looking dapper in their suits and ties. Although the show get off to a rough start, the teleprompter was down but the production team was able to get it back online quickly. With the teleprompter back online, the show was in full swing from there on with awards after awards, speeches after speeches with emotion and laughter throughout the night. The biggest winner of the night goes to La La Land and Moonlight, Emma Stone won best actress for motion picture musical/comedy, while her co-star Ryan Gosling won best actor for motion picture musical/comedy. Overall "La La Land" went home with all seven awards for which it was nominated, "Moonlight" nabbed just one globe - but it was a big one, best motion picture, drama. Finally, the Golden Globes is to honor film making for their performances and it was a well organized show to acknowledged actors and actresses, screen writers, directors etc.
