Love. Live. Life. Proceed. Progress. I'm a 24 year old young man from Exuma, Bahamas. Exuma only has about 4,000 people, but music is probably the single most infleuntial factor for the youth in the Bahamas, especially the ghetto youths. Bob Marley & Lil Wayne are my favorites without a doubt. My mother and father are real island people: they would dance to Bob Marley all the time on weekends, on the way to school and when cooking dinner. I loved music my entire life! I sat down & attempted to write my first structured song after memorizing Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent in 2001. Thoguht about that for the first time the other day- that was almost 15 years ago! This is no joke for me. I cut back on business coureses to get more serious about my music. My mother has been in debt for years, my cousins have literally gone hungry many night growoing up, my father died of cancer for 7 years and right before Christmas my best friend died in a car accident and my uncle hung himself in the back yard. Every day I walk around with a genuine smile on my face, becuase like my mother always says, "everything always works itself out in the end". There have been a lot of failing for me in life, but I always find a way to pick myself up. It's okay to fall, as long you get back up. Real champions have failed hundreds of times before they made it to the prize & tasted champagne! My imagination is too wild & I get bored too easil, so I need music to function. It is my drug! Music is my ife.
