In chapter 3 I recieved a better understanding of digital audio and how it works. This chapter taught me more about how signal is converted from analog to digital and it gave me a better understanding of the process. Also this chapter goes in depth about sample rate and bit depth and it explains how it is used in the field of audio engineering. Another thing this chapter taught me was the different tapes and discs audio can be stored on, and the different lossy and lossless compression formats used.
