This chapter is all about time based effects. I've come to realize time based effects are extremely important for many different reasons. First off you HAVE to put all time based effects in an AUX track because if you put it directly on the track you want it on it will alter the frequencies of the sound, when you really just want to put the effect on top of the sound. Also I've learned that time based effects are very particular, they can either make something sound amazing or completely ruin a sound. Time based effects are great to use while mixing becasue you can do so many cool and different things with them. You can completely alter songs with using time based effects. This chapter was really helpful and one of my favorites.
