This chapter seemed like it wouldn't be fun at all. Turns out it wasn't too bad.  My father is quite knowledgeable in most of the topics in this chapter ansd was able to explain things to me better than the internet (and even my mentor) could.  Not to say that Arnold doesn't explain things well, because he does.  At the studio we went over the core concepts of the chapter that definitely warranted attention, like bit depth, sample rate, buffer size, and latency.  He showed me Chung Kings HD system and all of the equipment that was relevant to the chapter.  Arnold seemed surprised at the speed at which I was understanding things.  Not sure if that means I'm doing really well or his other students aren't that bright.  Either way, I'm happy with the way things are going.

This chapter, quite like the last one, got me excited because it cleared up a lot of jargon that otherwise would have kept me in the dark.  Knowing what these technical terms actually mean make things feel a lot less overwhelming.  Knowing the boring technical stuff is one step closer to killing it in the creative realm :)
