Today I met with my mentor Joey Heier at Crystal Clear Studios, going over the first two lessons I had completed online for the ebook. We discussed the true definition of mixing as well as the importance of testing out your mixes in different settings. Joey seemed rather impressed with my perception on mixing and believes that I fit perfect for the Audio Engineering program. Vibrations deriving from a sound source generates sound that we are able to here. Psychoacoustics is a term used for how we as humans perceieve the sound in our brains. All in all, my mentor broke down both chapters and what to expect once I start getting hands-on experience and I am so eager to start the process.
