So last week I started the Advanced Audio Engineering course at Allusion Studios here in Tucson. My mentor is Jim Pavett and he is a very educated and informative man. He answered my questions super in depth leaving no stone unturned. I really enjoyed my first lesson with him. In my first shadowing of an actual session we tracked a trumpet player for a Classical based Rock album. I had never been in a horn tracking session before so I had a lot of questions on that. So far its been learning the signal flow of the studio and what things connect to where. I am really looking forward to my time at Allusion studios.
