Today was an advaced day at the studio we discusssed patch bays and signal flow. This is a huge part to the proffessional recoding business. The patch bay connects different hardware and software within the console and it is essiential to learn how to connect these devices and use them together. We went over how to insert the signal to other sources such as effect processing ect.The patch bay is a very versitile piece of equipment. It can be configured in four different ways such as open, half normaled, normaled and parallel these are used for several different applications. We also discussed the balanced plug and alittle of how its built it consist of 3 parts TRS tip, ring, sleeve. This was a very straight forward section about patch bays now its connecting and learning the equipment
