This week I learned mostly about the electrical aspects of the studio. AC power comes from the plug on the wall. DC power comes from batteries. Voltage and amps are different. Voltage is whether energy is being used or not (potential). Amperage is how fast energy flows through something. If you pull too many amps through a fuse it can blow. Electrical outlets have either 110V or 220V. Breakers represent circuits in your house and if you plug too many things into the circuit it can blow the breaker. 

I started learning on ProTools!!!!!!!!! John Keane has a video course on ProTools and so far I am on Part 1, Lesson 7 basic editing techniques.
