On the 20th and 21st of January I got a life changing opportunity to work with and be a host to Bastille at Sanctum Sound for a Video and Radio Recording event. We all got to the studio really early and made sure that everything was perfect before their arrival. Beau Colburn from Virgin Records arrived first around noon. I got to meet him and answer the door. Then more radio people showed up from 92.5 The River. Multiple people from Capitol Records came to the event as well. There was a contest to come to see Bastille Perform at the studio in an intimate setting with the radio station. About 20 people won and came to the studio for the event. It was really great because we got to meet the band, radio, and record people personally. We even got to take a picture with the band. It was such a great character building day. And that was only day one.
