Good ol' mix theory.
This section has created so many more questions for me its insane. I knew that once I started mixing someone elses project that I would run into a ton of questions; unfortunately, in this case, everybody does things a little bit differently. Different microphones, recording environments, mic pres, cables, etc. all produce different results when it comes to the final mixdown. Problems have to be identified and attacked.
But the mass amount of questions do bring a smile to my face. More questions means more learning and more discovery, which means that this field has a long and hopefully bright future for me. Eventhough I am frustrated and have a bunch of questions, I am enjoying the process. "True Revelations" mix here we come.
