Thankfully, my mentor used to design and build car audio components back in the day when everything was still interchangable in cars. So he has quite a bit of understanding when it comes to speaker placement, acoustics, and monitoring. 

As I believe I mentioned in one of my earlier blog posts, my mentor was able to come over to my home studio and build some acoustic sound panels for me. It was quite the experience and I am looking forward to the installment of these panels. I am currently moving my studio to another room in the house, and I need to analyze the acoustics of this room before I install those panels. Plus I need to chage the floor in this room in order to reduce reflection and unwated phasing effects.
