Thursday, April 25th will mark the new start to my Recording Connection experience for serveral reason.
First of all, I was unable to make it to the Studio for many weeks on end due to personal matters that really do not belong being posted all over the internet. Secondly, I was stuck in my own head not thinking clearly enough to be able to tell my Mentor, Joe, that being a Recording Engineer wasn't really my cup of tea, even though that is how I put it out to be.

A week prior to April 25th (The 18th) I met with Joe for about an hour to discuss what I wanted to accomplish out of this program, and we started to develop the new way he was going to go about teaching me, while still keeping me up and going with the Recording program I was enrolled it. I had told him that I was a lot more interested in the production side of things rather then the recording that I had already grown bored of after watching a few studio sessions of his. So now, he will be teaching me 1 on 1 every Thursday how to be a Production Engineer and how to accomplish goals quickly, and professionally. 

On April 25th, I went into the studio expecting good things, and good things did come out of it! We tried hooking up my Native Intruments "Maschine" but unfortunately, we believe it to be broken and or malfunctioning because it would not power up, and it stil isn't. (Which has been putting a complete stop on any production done from my own home) We spent about 2 hours that day learning the basic functions of Logic, which I dove right into and am excited for the next learning session, I learn from example and he shows a lot of good examples which should keep me ahead of the game in terms of my Learning Curve.

I'm looking forward to the weeks ahead and really hope I can get my home studio settled and start making beats and browsing functions that he can explain to me later.
