this week we worked on input and outputs, how they work, and the importance of them to get our equiptment to work properly. I practiced running a microphone to the input panel, then to the patch bay, into the mixer, and finaly into pro tools on the computer. In every step i learned there is an input and an output and that is how we get our signal to flow to each step in the process. I also learned how to troubleshoot if there is a problem. I did my first troubleshooting when 1 of our mics wasnt being heard on the mixer. I learned how to follow our signal and isolate a certain area where i know the problem is. I cant wait for next week and to learn even more. Til the keep your head up, your feet down, and eyes on the future.
