This week in the studio... I learned about the more commonly used EQ's. Got my hands dirty in Pro Tools. EQ'd a drum mix. I'm a lot more comfortable on a DAW than the mixing console, because i've worked with Logic, Studio 1, and currently Ableton, and now Pro Tools. Yeah, thing went much smoother. Deductive EQing is something I am familiar with, however a little more tricky with live sets than with samples, and digital synths, but i really enjoy the challenge and applied what I already know to the mix. Eric, i believe was somewhat impressed, because after having EQ'd the mix, of seven or so trax, he didnt change much at all to what i did. Anyway, Fun stuff!!!
