This week is about learning that though ProTools does offer some mastering ability, it is nothing like getting your project professionally mastered.
April 2 Session- Mark's Band- Jazz- Full band
Mic'd full drum set, grand piano, guitar, bass and upright bass, and singer. Had to stuff the grand piano with pillows to dampen the sound. Drummer was not used to playing with a click so the initial takes had timing issues. So we started him out with the click to help with the count off then turned it off as soon as song began. Great band, great session!
