Studio design is based on alot of variables depending on your unique situation.

The main things are to have a symetrical control room with ideal sound, and good monitors.

Have no right angles in the studio, which also means angling your control room windows if you have them.

Have double walls, meaning dont let the outside wall also be the inside wall.

And have drums on risers with carpet underneath.
