K?d Set at Club Vinyl: Denver, CO. Posted on 2017-06-23 by Paige Carmichael

K?d with Azura and Gh0stss

Club Vinyl

June 22nd, 2017

9:00pm-2:00am

This show was one of the best I have ever been to. The crowd was super friendly and the music was great. K?d did a phenominal job and I am looking forward to seeing more of him.

During Gh0stss set, Club Vinyl was trying to figure out some technical things with the LED Light show and sound. His set was grewt, however the club's ability to be prepared rturned me a little off. The sound would cut out randomly from time to time during both Gh0stss and Azura's set and the microphone being used throughout was not functional almost the entire night to the point that you could see it was pissing the artists off. I also found it slightly unprofessional that the club was trying to set up Visuals and Audio during the openers acts. I thought it was distracting and rude to the artists. Over all I thought the club could've been more thuroughly prepared for the evening considerig they open doors so late.

Musically, all the artists put on incredible sets. Gh0stss was full of energy and made sure to keep the beat going eventhough he had a minimal crowd size most of the time. He was very entertaining to watch and was obviously very siked to be playing. Azura was also incredible. He had a lot of diverse, heavy sounds that were very fun to dance to, however I did find his mixing choices to be a little bit odd. I felt like there wasn't a very well thought out flow of the set, with slow and fast songs scattered throughout that threw the groove of the crowd off a little bit. This might have been due to the sound problems that were happening at the time, but overall, still a great set and would love to see him play live again in the future.

K?d's two hour set was one of the best I've ever seen. Everything was balanced out really well and he kept the crowd constantly moving which was awesome. I also have a lot more respect for him than most DJ's. He had minimal pre recorded tracks and was constantly mixing, and that was super great! I wish I could have seen his LED Light show better, but that was not his fault. Club Vinyls LED display isn't sert up in the best way and could definetly be bigger.

Overall, this show was absolutely amazing and I wish I could do it all over again. Everyone had a positive energy and I never stopped dancing. Again, I can't wait to see K?d play again soon. He was one of the first producers that I discovered and started following on my own and has been one of my biggest influences and inspirations with my own music.
