As a voice actress of many years working from my own home studio, I have been engineering my own voice over sessions for quite a while. I've always enjoyed recording and giving direction for VO, so I was incredibly excited to be given the responsibility of running a session at the studio. I actually didn't know that I was going to be doing it coming in, I had just planned on my lesson, but I was up for the challenge! Working in a real session with clients helped me to get much faster with my shortcuts and I made some pretty great connections as well. The client also appreciated my VO direction since no one else in the room was a director themselves. The recording finished without a hitch and I was left with a happy client!
