I had a great 3rd week. This week I decided to work on some of my music. Work on the things that I learned so far in class. I wanted to mix and eq my music on Pro Tools so I could get comfortable with it. While I was doing some mixing I thought I would write to one of the beats I made. I do have some experience in writing, but not to one of my beats I had already made. I already had a hook in mind. So one of my classmates asked me if i wanted to record it. I thought it was great idea because it would give use an opportunity to actually learn by doing. You wont learn how to do something unless you actually do it. So it layed the hook down. We mixed it. Then I ended up writing the rest of the song and was able to record the whole song a few days later. I am so excited about it because it sounds pretty good for my first time. I had a great week.
