Week eight I was so excited for I thought it would be so fun and simple and when I sat down with protools in front of me I had no clue what I was doing. So after watching all the videos on how to save power and change your settings so protools would run smoother. I finished the chapter and took the quiz. I was still unsure how to use most of protools. So I went into the studio and sat down and went over the quiz which did not help much. then I sat down at the computer and that made all the difference with Alex and Tyler behind me telling me shortcuts that made a world of difference. Tyler went through a bunch of shortcuts and I wrote them down. Then he made a session so that I could take it home and mess around with it which was amazing. Then we talked a little about the history of protools and who owns it. Than we went over each file and what it is used for. Then we went back to the computer and went over the sort cuts some more. Once I got home the first thing I did was open protools and tried all the new things I learned.
