Week 14, it has been extremely overwhelming making time to get into the studio and then coming home and writing a blog.  Dynamic signal processing was little bit harder to get a grasp on going through the chapter by my self at first. I made it through it, and was ready to go into the studio. Once I went in Alex and I went over my test making sure I understood it, just like we do every week. Once we completed that we started to go page through page in the book. We started with compression, I had a little idea what compression was but not enough to go on in the chapter. We focused on that for the longest, we put different compressions on a couple of audio clips. So I was able to see how compression effects a drum compared to a guitar that is being played. We did all this with protools. Them Alex went through most of the compressors that he uses when they recorded using the tape machine. Which is what they almost always use. Once I got home I opened up my assignment and tried to add some compression to it. Overall this assignment is tough to keep up with.
