Recently, I upgraded and bought a new imac computer for my studio and noticed that my profire 2626 interface was unable to be recognized by protools. As it turns out, M-Audio did not have a driver that was compatable with Apples newest operating system, Mountain Lion. Eventually, M-Audio did come out with a beta version of the driver. Even still, the beta driver was not compatable with my operating system (10.8.2). M-Audio has said that they will come out with a new driver but until then, the profires can not work with my computer. Since then, I have switched to using the Focusrite Saffire Pro40 interface which does work with my operating system.
