This week’s reading was on the rhythm section, which was a breeze due to already knowing music theory and having some prior experience with electronic music production. I am definitely looking forward to this module and the future chapters as the prior chapters were all about getting oriented to Ableton.
This week’s lesson still focused on the track I am working on with vocals, Blood Moon. Alex and I fine tuned the vocals even more to correct any inadvertent changes we made to the vocalist’s melodies in Melodyne. I am hoping the work I do before the lesson will be good enough to be able to put final touches on the track during my lesson and then I can do the final mastering at home. It’s time to start a new track and go to weekly open mic nights to start networking once a week and get more people into the studio! But first, this track has to sound professional in order to attract other artists to work with me. Challenge accepted!
