Week 26 - Exporting and Faux Mastering Posted on 2018-09-04 by Kyle Ellis

Week 26 was on exporting and faux mastering, which was a great read. Overall, I have been using other plugins to do my mixing/mastering like Neutron 2 and Ozone 8, but it was nice to see that Ableton Live offers some useful tools for this process.

As I am done with the chapter material, now will be time to really focus on meeting other artists to do collaborations with. I know that I still have raw talent, with great potential, but the music industry is not about being the "best" as that is subjective; it's about making connections, which opens the door to more and more opportunities.

The knowledge I have gained in this program is uncomparable to any formal education program I have received in the past. At this point, I am excited to continue my journey as an artist, to keep working with Abstract Studios, and to see where this adventure takes me.
