This week was very insightful as it discussed recording audio and went into a good amount of detail for a beginner who's learning about microphones. It would have been helpful to read this chapter before last week's drum set up and mic'ing session that we had at the studio, but now I definitely understand a little bit more and could pick out the 57's from the equipment room.

This weekend, I am still attempting to put the final mix/master on my cover track, Slow hands. It has come a long way and we added more depth to the synths last week, but now ensuring everything has a place in the mix and nothing is eating the same frequencies is a very tedious and time consuming process. However, the finished product will be well worth the wait.
