My first week in the Recording Connection Audio Engineering program was a pretty eye-opening one. The first chapter in the course is sound physics. In my first lesson my mentor Larry explained how sound is made, sound waves, frequency, decibels, and the Fletcher-Munson Curve. He also explained how both speakers and microphones work which was very interesting. I'm really excited to see what the coming weeks have in store and I can't wait to get in the studio and start learning hands on.
